How Do I Clean My LED Display?

I think my sign may be dirty...

First of all, thanks for asking this question! A good way to reduce the effectiveness of any LED display is to clean the display with chemicals. Alcohols and other caustic chemicals ruin or obscure the clean panel over the LEDs. A fuzzy, or hazy panel will diminish the impression of your sign. So, what can you do?

• Never use alcohols or bleaches on the LED covers.
• Never use Windex, 409, or any other spray cleanser.
• Prepare a solution of Palmolive or Dawn dishwashing detergent in warm water. Use a soft sponge or soft cloth dampened with the solution and gently wash away debris, oils, dirt, etc.
• Rinse with a clean cloth or sponge.
• Allow to air dry
